What is your concept? (Be thorough & specific. Review the links on Blackboard)	A Breakfast Club type concept but with a horror and comedy element. Every student that is in detention is a typical cliché. And now that the teacher forgot about the students, they must spend the night trapped in detention, only one of the students isn't as sane as they may seem.
How did you conceive the idea for this concept?	My group and I wanted to create a horror movie but also wanted to add humor to it. We also wanted to make it a group of students in high school to make it more relatable.
What do you believe is unique about your concept?	Unlike other horror films ours brings in a mystery element.
Why do you believe this product will be of interest to your audience?	The film is a comedy and has relatable elements that our audience can understand. The characters are a dramatized version of the people our audience knows or sees in their daily life.

The feedback my group and I received was not a lot, but it does help us decide what we are going to add to our concept. Some of the feedback we received was to have the character that is loved by everyone is the killer. Therefore, there will be suspicions on who the killer is, but they would end up being wrong. We were also told to have a very planned out plot. When we were told this, I interpreted it as adding more to the plot and have more of a story outlined. We will be adding more of a story and more to the plotline. What we will add is, maybe more backstory to the detention and why they get stuck. Our feedback did not help us with much but that might mean that we did a decent job on most of it.  

The article “Exploring the role of meaningful experiences in users' appreciation of "good movies"” helps support our concept because they state that “beloved protagonists are shown experiencing positive outcomes, and disliked characters are depicted as experiencing negative outcomes.” our concept is supported by this because our disliked characters will be first to leave and the audience would be predicting it and enjoying it. Our liked protagonist will be the killer and people would be surprised and enjoy it. We did not receive much feedback but that is just showing that we did a good job and do not need many revisions on our movie.
