  Creativity & Genre   Creativity is a key factor when embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices. Creativity helps people develop big ideas and new thoughts. This is quite dynamic in improving one’s performance on a particular task. The Ted Talk on the theory of creativity showed this. He showed how when people do not have a large amount of time, they are not able to come up with the most creative idea they have the potential to. He had a group of people have one minute to draw a house. Everyone drew the same generic house because they didn’t have time to show their creativity. This shows how creativity is a key factor and is very important.  After viewing the Ted Talk video, we wrote 10 sentences about ourselves. Not just our name, age and favorite color.           To Team or Not to Team I have made the decision to work with a group for my portfolio. We have done multiple activities and read many articles about team building. The activities and articles showed how personalities will affect the way a group works together. Which is understandable; some personalities are not the type to work in a team. After reading these and doing the activities it showed my group and I that we would be a good team together and would be able to get everything done.            My group includes me, Olivia Swanson, and Tatiana Vivoni. While working on the Lost at Sea activity we first worked alone then on the second time around we worked together. While working together we were able to see everyone's perspective and why they chose the things they chose.   My initial impressions from Indesign and PremierPro were not as expected. I expected an easy way of editing pictures, videos and clips. However, that’s not what I got. When I was on the different applications I was initially very confused. I didn’t know where to start or anything. There was so much on the screen and so many different things to do. I first started on PremierPro. Here I was learning how to edit videos, add music to the videos, add different effects and more. When I started doing these it was getting easier and easier as it went on. Although, there were times where I would get extremely confused while watching the tutorials, I would attempt to catch up and get back into pace with the tutorial. Also, we have been looking through magazines and articles. This was a tough decision to make; deciding between creating a magazine or a movie for my project.                       ...
