Storyboarding

 Storyboarding

Creating the storyboard was challenging but also was easy. The challenging parts were when we were having to decide when certain things were going to happen. For example, the title sequence and deciding whether it was going to be in the beginning of the intro video or the end. It was also easy to create because we already knew the basic story line and when things were going to happen, so we were just needed to draw and write down the details. I assisted in developing the concept by helping come up with more ideas and different ways we can move the camera and change the different angles. In the article, “Filmmaking across the curriculum: a beginner's guide”, the author demonstrates that “Good films are the direct result of good ideas, good planning and good preparation. Making a film needs to be undertaken over time, as each part of the process plays an integral role in the creation of a successful end product.” when the author said this, they believed that a good film is created by planning, ideas and preparation. I agree with this because when you are creating something you want to have good ideas to make a good product and you need lots of planning and preparation to have a good outcome. Our storyboard has changed from our original views. We have added freeze frames so we can introduce each character in a humorous way. We did not change anything else for our storyboard.
