Week 10

 

1. 1. This week we have been working on final touches on our film. During the beginning of the week, we began by starting to add all of the clips onto the application. We started by taking out certain clips that were mess ups or didn’t look the way we wanted it to. Then we began making each clip flow with each other. As we did this, we were able to start looking for background noise to add. We found an eerie song to use and bells to make it sound like a school bell. We then began working on the lighting for each clip. There were many, many kinds of lighting that could have worked but we decided on one that looks well with the scenery. We also then began changing the speeds of the clips and play with the speeds. We were able to make things go into slow motion and speed up.  

2. 2.This week me and Olivia began working more on editing and adding things. We began adding the title and other small details. It took many different tries to make the title look well and we were finally able to do it. We also found more things to use to edit. We added slow motion into the movie and added more background music that we believed was more fitting. We also added a new clip to the beginning, so the audience can tell it is supposed to be a horror film and comedic. A lot of the movie was mostly comedic because while we were filming, we realized how difficult it would be to make it more horror like, but we still attempted to make it have some horror concepts involved. Although there were many problems with creating and editing the movie as a whole group, we were still able to make it work.
