Peer Review

This week we presented our projects. My group presented our movie. We received a lot of feedback from this. Most of the feedback was all negative and things that we need to fix. Some suggested that redo the entire film and just start all over but we decided to just take certain clips out and stick to either a Breakfast Club spoof or a horror/comedy since they believed it did not fit either of those genres. We also were told that some of the cast talked quietly so we will be going back into the editing to turn the volume up on those clips. We could not do all the things we were hoping we could do by the end, so we were told to add the freeze frame clips that we were originally going to add but lost track of time. We were also told to, if we were going to go with the horror aspect, to add a clip of the teacher locking the door or the students complaining about how late it is or adding flickering lights or something at the end of the movie. We are still trying to decide whether we will be doing a horror or spoof movie. We were also told to make the clip with our names longer so you can read it. Which will be an easy fix. Some of the positive feedback we got was that they liked our font that we chose, the transitions were good and the walking down the hallway with the door creaking and that we should add more sounds like that if we are going to make it a horror film. Therefore, it will sound eerie, and people will know that it is a horror film. Most of the feedback we received was negative and we basically were told that we need to fix the entire movie, but my group has decided on what we are going to do for most of the little tweaks and we are still trying to decide on the genre of the film, but we will most likely be going towards the Breakfast Club spoof since it is already a funny movie but tried to make it scary.
